I love this radio. I am suspect to say it. Collins gear is PRICELESS.

This pic was taken when I turned all the light off in my shack. I have used a Cannon EOS 10D and Optical Lense EF 50mm f1.1/8. Take a look on the results.

New Layout Ham Radio Station - including Kenwood TS 930 Sat

This is the current layout of my amateur radio station. As you can see in the lower right side my "new" rig - Kenwood TS 930 Sat. To be honest with you, long time I was looking for that radio but it´s pretty hard to find one in a very good condition. I was really lucky when I found this radio. Mint condition.

HF Station AM/ SSB/ CW (Boatanchors-Vintage Radios)

This is my Vintage Station for AM, SSB and CW. For those who like a Tube Radio, you can see a Collins KWM 2 (1972) and Station Console 314B-4, Linear Amplifier Yaesu FL 2100 B (2X 512b), Drake Transceiver TR-4Cw (500 Hz Filter and Rit) and Drake Twins (line A) R-4A receiver and T-4X transmitter.

In my modest opinion the Drake Receiver (R4A and others of the same line B, C and even the R4) have the best reception compared with all radios ever made. I'm proud to be a user of american radios, specially Drake and Collins Radios.

On the bottom line, you can see other american radio Drake TR 7 (1977), but this radio is all solid state. I heard this radio was the first one solid state radio made after hybrid radios (transistors and tubes).
